This depends on the problem or skill being worked on. For many in-person lessons, including halter training, a yard approximately four to six metres in diameter is useful.
Bree can discuss your facilities with you before the lesson and confirm what is needed.

An in-person lesson can be completed one-on-one, or your family or other people involved with the cattle can attend.

Bree can supply the necessary equipment. However, it is helpful to also have the equipment you plan to use with your cattle available so she can teach you how to use it safely and effectively.

No. Bree works with complete beginners, experienced cattle owners, families, young handlers and stockmen with many years of experience. Training is adjusted to suit your confidence, knowledge and goals.

Yes. Bree can support clients dealing with cattle that are difficult to approach, move, lead or manage safely. Include as much detail as possible in your enquiry, and Bree may ask for photos or videos before recommending the best option.

In-person lessons are generally available within approximately two hours of Gisborne, Victoria, with travel charges applying. Other locations may be considered, particularly when Bree is already travelling to an area for a clinic.

Online lessons can be a great option for discussing a specific behaviour, troubleshooting part of the halter training process or following up after previous training. Where reception and safety allow, you may also be able to join the call from the yards or paddock.
